Drs Harry Bruintjes RAB RV is Crossings’ founding partner. Driven by enormous passion for transformation and growth, he is always involved in a number of transformations, mergers & acquisitions and (independent) valuations of companies in different sectors. 

Harry specializes in articulating growth strategies for companies that operate nationally and internationally and the role that mergers and

acquisitions, MBOs and MBIs can play. He is an expert in business model generation and innovation, restructuring and recovery, demonstrating and developing financial models in support of growth strategies and in providing (independent) valuations and fairness opinions. 

 

Harry started his career in 1994 when he was selected for DSM’s management development program, which gave him the opportunity to contribute to restructuring programs and the sale of business units. Typically in operational positions (often as managing director), he defined and implemented growth strategies, oftentimes followed by a sale, purchase or merger. In various international commercial roles, he set up business units for global businesses. Over the years, Harry has filled pretty much every operational role that the international business community has to offer.

 

Harry’s broad management experience, in combination with his financial expertise in valuation and his knowledge of the legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions makes him a rare commodity. He can provide a fast and thorough assessment of value and how to increase this, as well as the feasibility of recovery, restructuring, take-overs and participations by third parties, private equity, management, employees or family members. 

 

Harry graduated from State University Groningen in The Netherlands as a business economist and studied Management & Organization at the Royal Dutch Military Academy (KMA). He completed an executive program at the Haas School of Business (University of California) on digital transformation of businesses. He holds the post graduate designation of Certified Valuation Analyst, granted by the Rotterdam School of Management. He is a member in good standing of the Dutch Institute for Registered Valuators (NIRV) and the European Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (EACVA). 

Harry is certified business consultant for business successions in family businesses (Avans University) and a corporate restructuring specialist under (Dutch) Insolvency Law, granted by the University of Leiden, The Netherlands.

Harry successfully completed the Grotius Academy’s post-graduate course in mergers and acquisitions for lawyers and legal advisors. This put him in the fairly unique position of being able to offer financial, operational and legal expertise when it comes to mergers and acquisitions and transformations. He has mastered the required means to optimally execute his passion, transformation of organizations, at the highest level.
